Evelyn Nunlee has been a fitness and movement teacher for over 15 years, working with children, seniors, the chronically ill, and in substance abuse programs as well as in traditional fitness settings. She holds a BFA in modern dance from the University of Michigan, is a Certified Movement Analyst, a certified Simonson Dance Technique Teacher, and has been a member of I.D.E.A. for over 15 years. She is currently working on her Master's Degree in creative movement for senior citizens through Empire State College. She teaches and choreographs for the Jazzy Randolph Dancers, a New York-based African-American dance company with members ranging in age from 68 to 84. As a group and individual fitness trainer, she specializes in functional fitness for seniors.
I walk to and from my class, approximately two miles each way, every week. With the help that I have received from my two sessions a week with Jae, the walk has become much easier and now I can keep a brisk pace.
